A quiet shift I didn't expect
Turns out, you don't have to try harder.
The other week, our whole family was down with a stomach bug.
It was one of those weeks where everything came to a halt - plans paused, rhythms disrupted -and all I could really do was rest and take care of what was right in front of me.
And in the middle of it, one verse kept coming back to me:
“Be still and know that I am God.”
Not push harder.
Not figure it all out.
Not try to keep everything moving.
Just… be still. Thank God for that!
Because honestly? I think I needed that reminder more than I realized.
Before that, I’d been feeling the tension too - the pressure to keep showing up, to keep creating, to stay visible… even when the results didn’t seem to match the effort.
More content - but less connection. It felt disheartening.
And I’ve been hearing the same thing from so many women lately, too.
So I’ve been asking a different question:
What actually works?
Not just for visibility, but for connection, trust, and real growth.
And the answer I keep coming back to is this:
It’s not more content.
It’s a simpler, more intentional way forward.
Clarity leads to connection.
And that connection leads to growth.
If you’ve been feeling the weight of trying to keep up lately, you’re not doing anything wrong.
My sweet friend, you might just be carrying more than you need to.
This is your invitation to pause…
to simplify…
and to come back to what actually works.
I’d love to hear from you -
have you been feeling this shift too?
